BAPTISM

Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and an identification with Jesus in his death and resurrection. Jesus commands his followers to be baptized and to baptize others in the "The Great Commission" found in Matthew 28:

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20 NIV).

We are planning to have a baptism service on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Johnston Heights Church. If you’re interested in getting baptized or if you’re simply wanting to know more about it, please fill out the form below and someone from our pastoral team will be in contact with you.
