Our vision is to make Jesus known in every community God places us and we have been uniquely positioned in an inner city context with many opportunities to serve.

Our church strives to meet the practical and spiritual needs of this community by providing accessible resources and financial support where possible. This includes food hampers and hot meals for families, funding for counselling services, school partnerships, free tutoring and hot meals for high school students, a seniors drop-in program, community support groups, weekly programs for kids, youth, and young adults, camps for kids and youth, etc. Most of our church ministries have staff oversight but are largely driven by a 200+ volunteer workforce.

Johnston Heights Church is a non-profit organization and every ministry is only made possible and funded by donation!

We now accept E-Transfer as a way to give! Just log in to your banking website or app, click E-Transfers and set up a new recipient. Use the email office@hopetoyou.com. It's set up as an auto deposit so there is no question or password needed, and this method has no fees charged to the church. Please add your phone number to the E-Transfer memo in case we need to contact you.

You can give in person during Sunday services and at the church office during the week. Our normal office hours are 10 am - 3 pm but please give us a call at 604-589-3733 to let us know you're coming as this schedule can change depending on the needs of any given week.
