JOB DESCRIPTION
Now Hiring:
- Children's Ministry Workers
- Youth Ministry Workers
Hours and Schedule:
- Start date end of June
- 35 hours/week for 8 weeks
Reporting:
- Primary reports to Children’s Director and Youth & Young Adults Director
- Secondary reports to the Administrative Director
Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide valuable experience in both Children and Youth Ministries by giving leadership and mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Born again Christian who has committed to Making Jesus known in every community He places us!
- Aged 15-30
- Proficient in Office 365 & Teams
- Experience with Planning Centre an asset
- Previous experience working with children and youth
- Research skills
This position is dependent on summer job funding and the successful candidate must also meet the summer job program qualifications.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Children’s Ministry
- Assist in family care
- Plan family events
- Assist in running July summer day camp (volunteer management, registration, prep & planning)
- Sunday morning program
- Youth Ministry
- Assist in planning & running youth events/nights
- Assist in planning & executing youth camp
