JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hours and Schedule:
• Start Date: Mid-June
• Average 35 hours for 8 weeks
Reporting
• Primary report is the Worship Director
• Secondary report is the Administrative Director
Purpose
The purpose of this position is to provide valuable experience in Worship Ministry by giving opportunities for development in leadership, mentorship and pastoral care.
Qualifications
• Born again Christian who has a commitment to the vision and mission of Johnston
Heights Church.
• Able to skillfully play at least one instrument.
• Proficient in Office 365.
• Experience using programs such as Multitracks, Logic X, Planning Center and Pro
Presenter is an asset.
• One year of college or biblical leadership training.
• This position is dependent on summer job funding and the successful candidate
must also meet the summer job program qualifications.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Assist in the spiritual growth and care of worship and tech team members.
• Assist in the scheduling of volunteers and planning of worship services.
• Lead worship during Sunday morning services and other events as assigned.
• Prepare and deliver all music, livestream and media elements for Sunday services.
• Participate in spiritual development activities as directed.
• Produce and mix recorded audio as assigned.
• Other items as needed.
