Baptism is a public declaration of what Christ has done in the life of the Christ follower. Jesus even commands his followers to baptize and be baptized in what we call "The Great Commission"
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20 NIV).
We are planning to have a baptism service on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Johnston Heights Church and if you have not been baptized, we'd love to baptize you! We want to make it as accessible as possible so please let us know if you would like to be baptized in a smaller social setting via video and we'll make that happen.
If you’re interested in getting baptized or if you’re simply wanting to know more about it, please fill out the form below and someone from our pastoral team will be in contact with you.
