All families are invited to join us for our JHC Kids Family Lent event!

We will kick-off the Lent season together, and prepare our hearts and minds as families for the coming celebration of Easter.

Family Lent Event: Saturday, March 8th, 9:30am - 11am

@ Johnston Heights Church 

The event will include a family devotional that we will walk through together during the Lent season.  A Jesus Easter - Explore God's Amazing Rescue Plan by Barbara Reach is a 30 day devotional that helps families celebrate the awesome, life-changing events of Easter. These easy-to-lead devotions start by looking at Genesis and take us through the Old Testament to see how Easter was always part of God’s amazing plan for his people. The rest of the stores look at the Jesus' life and the Easter story itself, helping families to experience the full joy of our resurrection hope. Aimed at ages 3 - 12 years, with options for questions for younger and older children.

This family event will be a fun way to kick-off the season of Lent as a family, introduce your family to the family devotional, and have a fun time together.

There will be stations you and your family can walk through together; snacks, scavenger hunt, crafts, devotional time and more.

Registration for the event includes your devotional book. Cost is $20/family.
