A Journey from Lent to Easter: Fast & Feast Guide for Families

One of the typical practices during Lent is fasting. Fasting is meant to mirror the practice of Jesus, who fasted 40 days in the desert in preparation for his public ministry. Fasting during lent is meant to help us draw closer to Jesus, and prepare our hearts and spirits to remember His death and resurrection. We will journey together as we Fast, and Feast on God's Word in the book of Mark together as families. These guides will cover the 46 days starting March 2nd, Ash Wednesday, and end on April 15th, Good Friday.

The Fast & Feast Family Guide is meant to help you as a family participate in these practices over the Lent Season:

FAST: Give up something they enjoy for the purpose of drawing closer to God.

FILL UP: Spend time in God's presence by praying and responding to God.

FEAST: Read God's Word (the Bible), which is often referred to as 'spiritual food'

Looking forward to Journeying with you to Easter and celebrating God's work on the cross through His Son Jesus!
